Hey everyone! This week was alright! There was some exciting days, and some boring days! I will just get right to it!
Monday- We ended up having to go to Fayetteville on Monday because Elder Augustus had to take a Guitar back! We took that opurtinity to play some basketball with the missionaries up there! I got to see some of my old homies! Elder Jackson being one of them! It was a ton of fun! Then some missionaries said we could come to dinner with them! We didnt have a dinner in Poteau so we went! After dinner was over it was to late to drive home, so we ended up spending the night! It was the worst night sleep of my life! I slept on the floor, that isnt to bad, but their apartment was like 80, so i was on fire, and I couldn't figure out there thermostat, so I just tried to tough it out!
Tuesday- We drove home in the morning, so I was not feeling very good at all! When we got back to town I was feeling a really bad mixture of sick and tired, so i laid down to try and get feeling better! After a little while I was feeling better, so we went out for the day! Now really there was not highlights from Tuesday, so we will leave it at that!
Wednesday- We had District meeting, and that went a ton better than it did last week! We were actually able to get through announcements and stuff! It was a decent meeting to! After the meeting we got a call from the Vehicle coordinator guy saying that we are getting a new car! That is some dang good news! I had to mail in our Tiwi, so until we get a new car we dont have one of the Tiwis!!! It is great!! We also helped that family move that we were going to help on Saturday! It was still a mess, but we got it done!
Thursday- I went on exchanges with the zone leaders! I went to Fort Smith with Elder Tolman! He is alright! We had a pretty good time! The first thing we did when I got there was go move a family in! You will never guess who it was either! It was that dang family we moved out that everything was a mess! It was not the funnest thing in the whole world! I am glad to be done with that one! We did a little tracting, and went out with a priest later that night! It was a pretty good day! We saw quite a few people!
Friday- In the morning before we switched back the Fort Smith Elders had a baptism interview scheduled, so that was pretty fun to go to! I didnt have to give the interview, but It is always a ton of fun to meet people who are just about to get baptized! We exchanged back after lunch, and honestly the rest of the day was pretty boring!
Saturday- It was the slowest day of them all! We tried to do a ton of finding new investigators, and had almost no success, so we will leave Saturday at that!
Sunday- We had church, and that went pretty good! Our Branch presidency was switched up a little bit, so that was kind of interesting! We had to teach gospel doctrine again, and we once again got no heads up! I think it went ok though! We also got the chance after church to meet with our most solid investigator! Her name is Dawn, and as soon as she stops smoking she will be baptized! It is going to be awesome!!!!
Well that is my week! Something crazy is that as of today I only have 60 days left! I love you all and miss you all! Have a great week!
Love Elder Jordan Sorensen
