Hey y'all
This week was a pretty good week! On Monday we played basketball with our district, and I sweated a ton!!!
Then we started a district activity! We are going to do the biggest loser challenge! We all weighed in on
Monday and so that started off! Elder Wisden and I have been doing a lot of tracting! Which means we
meet a ton of people! That has kinda been fun! We have gotten a few new investigators this week, and
none of them are really golden or anything, but hey they are new investigators none the less! We also have
been going through and trying to meet all the Young single adults! We are trying to get an institute program
here at the college in town, and lets just say that neighbors of these people are my favorite! There was this
one guy, and he was DRUNK!! He was going on and on about how he is doing all these crazy things and
building all this stuff, and the he drank like 2 and a half beers just in the time we were with him! He also
had a decent sized pile of empty cans, and honestly they all looked like they were put there that day, so
hopefully he is alright! On Thursday we had a zone training meeting! It was pretty good! There was some
really good instructions, and the best part was i didn't have to prepare a district meeting ;) When we got back
to town the Tornado sirens started going off! It was crazy! We took some cover, but of course ended back
out side filming the sky! Right about us the clouds started to swirl, but luckily they never came down!
There was crazy fast winds and the sky was green, and all the elements for a tornado were there, but no
tornado came out of it! There was a tornado about 20 minutes from us though in another town! Then that
night we got to have dinner with Ciera and her dad! I think we are starting to peek his interest a little bit
more! I am excited for that! Now Friday was the highlight of the week! I am not sure if y'all know this,
but it was my YEAR mark!!!! How crazy is that? Well the tradition for a year mark is burning a shirt, so
thats what I did! We went out to a members house who lives about 10 minutes out of town (for obvious
reasons) and we had dinner there! After dinner we went out side! I am going to paint you a picture of
how this went down! I had a miniature cross bow with a pencil for an arrow and a marshmallow on the tip!
that marshmallow was soaked in lighter fluid! Then I was standing about 6 yards from my shirt, also
soaked in lighter fluid! I had Tyler light my arrow, and i took aim! There were about 6 people there all
taking pictures or videos! I shot the shirt, and it burst into flames! It was Magical!! Sunday was pretty
good too! in Church Kylea and Tyler both spoke, and they did an amazing job! That was the highlights
of my week! It was a dang good week! I love and miss y'all
